We are currently recruiting for a prestigious private hospital in Central London, which is seeking to employ an experienced Senior Staff Nurse for their Paediatric ICU department. This role requires applicants to undertake delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of the Ward Sister / Charge Nurse.

The job holder will provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality nursing care to children and families. Applicants must act as a role model and expert clinical practitioner and assist in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department within allocated resources.

Requirements
    
•    NMC Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RN Child / RSCN)
•    Assessing & Mentoring qualification
•    Evidence of continuing professional development within the speciality
•    Relevant courses / experience in PICU    
•    Leadership or management training
•    Basic Life Support training
•    APLS / EPLS
