This outstanding private hospital in Central London is looking to recruit and experienced Registered Childrens Nurse (RCN/ RSCN) for the position of Staff Nurse on their Paediatric Ward.

In the role of Paediatric Staff Nurse you will be working within the multidisciplinary team and delivering a high standard of nursing based on the theory of family centered care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the care of an individual or group of patients and the needs of their families / carers. You will be expected to participate in education and research throughout the unit to ensure that quality care is delivered.

Their Paediatric Centre, comprising Paediatric Ward, Paediatric Theatre, Paediatric OPD and the Paediatric ICU is a dedicated facility for children with treatments ranging from simple day case to complex Paediatric Medical and Paediatric Surgical procedures to take advantage of their PICU. Their wide range of specialist Paediatric Surgical areas include Cardiac, ENT, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, and Spinal.

The department itself is diverse and you will be working in a very friendly team. There are opportunities for both mentorship and progression to Senior Staff Nurse. There is a very favourable nurse patient ratio, which will allow you to provide more comprehensive, one-to-one care to your patients.

Requirements

•   NMC Registered Childrens Nurse (RCN or RSCN)
•   Minimum 12 months Paediatric experience
•   Enthusiastic for delivering high quality Paediatric care
•   ENB998 or equivalent Mentorship qualification advantageous, but not essential

The successful post holder will work thirteen 12 hour shifts per month and will be required to complete 4 - 5 nights and 1.5 weekends per month.
