This private hospital in Central London is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Childrens Nurse for the position of Sister/ Charge Nurse within their specialist Paediatric Neuro Rehabilitation Unit.

Duties/ Responsibilities

This Paediatric Neuro Rehab Charge Nurse position will see you take responsibility for the clinical management and leadership of nursing staff within the unit in order to ensure the high standard of nursing care provided is of high quality at all times. You will be required to demonstrate excellent paediatric nursing skills, provide risk assessment and management, whilst facilitating the early recognition of clinical problems, and assist in audit/ quality control procedures.

In this role you will promote a positive team working and learning environment, continually seek to develop the clinical skills and expertise of staff on the unit, and evaluate the work of the team to ensure your high standards are met. You shall also deputise for the Modern Matron in their absence.

Requirements

We are ideally looking for an enthusiastic Registered Childrens Nurse with a passion for high quality, who is commited to delivering excellence in the nursing care of paediatric patients. You should have at least 6 years in paediatrics, whilst paediatric medical/ rehabilitation/ neurology experience would be most preferred.

You must have good leadership experience, and possess a recognised Mentorship/ Teaching qualification or a post graduate management qualification.
