A Clinical Nurse Specialist within Paediatric Gastroenterology is required for a highly regarded specialist hospital in the Regent's Park area of Central London.

Duties/ Responsibilities

As Gastroenterology Paediatric Nurse Specialist you will be responsible for facilitating the provision of multi-disciplinary care for those patients with Gastroenterology abnormalities requiring surgical input, nutritional support though the use of TPN and Enteral feeds and for all patients undergoing explorative and investigative procedures such as Endoscopies and pH Studies.

Your duties will also include developing journey protocols and discharge pathways, establishing and maintaining a Gastro MDT, and supporting all staff and students. You will also assist in auditing and research in order to improve patient outcomes and act as an expert resource to patients and their families.

Contract/ Salary and Benefits

Requirements

• NMC Registered Nurse - Child (Part 8 or 15)
• Minimum 5 years Paediatric Nursing experience
• Gastroenterology experience
• Post graduate qualification in Gastroenterology (desirable)
• ENB998/ Mentorship qualification
• Evidence of relevant professional development
